Hit US series ‘Heroes’ is set to return to television screens in 2015. The series will return under the title ‘Heroes Reborn’ and will be broadcast for a 13 episode mini-series.

Tim Kring will return to direct the new show which proved to be a massive hit in its first series but dwindling ratings figures in its third and fourth season led to its cancellation in 2010.

NBC released a short teaser trailer for the series, which can be seen below during their winter Olympic coverage on Saturday. In a statement released immediately after the ad aired, NBC said the new stand-alone story arc will be called “Heroes Reborn,” but details on the storylines or characters involved remained under wraps — for now.
